What is influencer marketing?
Influencer marketing is a fairly easy concept to understand once you define its root words:
Influence: the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something
Market: to advertise or promote a particular commodity or service
In laymen's terms, influencers are leaders in their respective industries with a loyal following that have the power to affect the development and buying behavior of a particular product, service, or company. Influencer marketing involves connecting with and developing a relationship with those influencers in a strategic way in order to market your brand or business.
Now that we've wrapped our head around that concept let's dive into a more mind-blowing concept. There are influencers in influencer marketing! And I have searched high and low to bring you the top names of leaders in the industry of influencer marketing.
